The design challenge

Travelers often face issues like:

    • Declined card payments due to unapproved geographies
    • Uncertainty around exchange rates
    • Overspending from lack of visibility or controls

The challenge was to create a central, intuitive hub that detects travel, proactively surfaces relevant tools (like card geo-controls, currency calculators, and spending limits), and does so in a way that feels lightweight, timely, and actionable.

How Might We

Help users manage their cards and spending more confidently while traveling abroad—without overwhelming them with settings or disrupting their experience?🚀
